The Ground Rules

I will walk with a person until they are healed enough to walk on their own.I will not stock more tissue then a person can use past a comfortable grieving period.

If your pain is precious to you you should carry it else where.I will only help you categorize it...and then move on to getting over it.

If you cannot find the humor in your troubles and only create more complex situations I will laugh at you eventually for your folly is most entertaining..

If you want to fill your arms with jagged pieces of your broken life I will help you pick out a few token pieces and show you how to make them into a key chain. If you ask me to slow down because you carry the burdens of your life I will only help carry what is valuable and only if it is not soaked wet from your tears.

I find Drama to be agreeable in moderation,When I go to a theater I do not expect the actors to pass me a script I do not take a role.

If you seek help out of a hole,I will send you the rope and wait to pull you out I will not climb in with you for company.

I think we have to realize our wounds are there, and then dress them, stop the bleeding, and then move on as they heal.

We can carry scars from old, healed wounds, but the thing is not to keep reopening the wound.

It's ok to have scars, maybe even to mention, in passing, how you got them, but no one wants someone around who is always bleeding from reopening old wounds they won't let heal.

We all know life can play rough at times, but you gotta tuck it up in the ole jockstrap and keep on keepin' on. At least, that's what you do if you're gonna be a survivor and not a trainwreck.

Damn, I wish I could take my own advice more often!

I am not empathic!

I am not empathic, and the fact that so many people claim to be "gifted" in such a way are really inviting people to drop their angst all over the place.

I just had a message exchange end with.. "Well your not a very friendly person." Simply because after

reading two depressing messages I asked if they happened to be Bi-Polar. The person took offense to that. Well I do research, I don't just jump into dark, or murky waters to aid people. I find that there are at least two types of people is despair, the person who is in despair and looks to be uplifted by someone else. Then there are those that develop under the impression that everyone is empathic.. the people that want everyone to sink to their level of angst.. they want company at a pity party. They are not "happy" until they draw another person.. or people.. into despair with their whoa. I am not the person for that!
